The difference between us is that you feel bad for an imaginary flower while we feel bad for actual flowers. By the way we are libertarians, people can do what they want, but we just think more people should think about what they are doing… They might make better decisions.

Yeah, so sarcasm really doesn’t work well online. I keep painfully re-discovering this fact. That comment was supposed to be a joke/compliment. Rest assured, we empathize with both real and imaginary flowers — and enjoyed the comic.
